This is Duke the lovable giant! He's arrived with us without too much background info as the owners had only had him a short period (they tried various avenues before surrender), however, we believe he has been passed around as he had to be surrendered for destroying their home (chewed furniture etc) when ever they left him. He was great with their young son, well behaved in the home and toileting outdoors etc, and great when they were around calm and somewhat lazy in the house! But would go on 3 hour walks with ease so quite an adaptable chap. He loves all the staff and will push onto you for a cuddle, he's met several dogs on lead and has been calm and sniffed with no negative body language or reactivity signs at all, but he has not played off lead as of yet as we want him to settle with us before this and work on his recall. He will be having crate training and separation work - we can also support a new home with any further training :D in summary he's a big lovable teddy bear! He is looking for a home who has experience with large breeds who can be around to be a companion and have some adventures with!
