Meet Fleur! The Greek Hare hound She is the sweetest gentle girl and melts the heart of everyone she meets! She hasn't been treated well and is nervous of strangers at first (will cower away not reactive), however, after some training this has drastically improved even in a short space of time. She is now willing to take treats from strangers and with a gentle stroke and confirmation you wont hurt her she immediately then becomes your best friend.
She has such a quirky funny way of asking for a stroke, she will roll her head around and tap you with her paw to keep giving her a love. She has had several sleep overs at the chairman's home and has shown her fun personality by getting zoomies and playing with her first ever toys! She will snuggle on the sofa all day long and equally loves sniffing and exploring the fields. We think she will always have the calm cuddly side, but equally seen glimmers of her fun side wanting to play and a celebration run around you after a bum scratch. She needs someone who is willing to spend time exposing her gradually to the world and who is wanting both a explorer and a sofa buddy to watch movies with! She did previously love dogs and also will often want to sniff and say hello, however, she was badly attacked just before we collected her which has now made her a little grumbly when dogs approach her for a sniff, this can likely be fixed as shes keen to meet dogs but scared of being attacked again, so for this reason we would request she is the only dog in the home so she can build her confidence back up first, or a home with a calm neutral dog that wont pester her whilst she adapts to her new life.
